License Plate Lookup / Check Plate Now is an independent private service, not a government agency. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or operated by any federal, state, or local government entity. The service does not access government systems directly, issue official DMV records, or guarantee the identity of a vehicle's current owner.

Searches are redirected to Bumper.com, an independent third party that the U.S. Department of Justice lists as an approved NMVTIS data provider. This service itself is not an NMVTIS provider. Third-party information may be unavailable, incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Official records must be obtained from the authority that maintains them:

• USA.gov — State Motor Vehicle Services and DMV Directory

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Check Plate Now (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Check Plate Now provides a search interface that redirects users to Bumper.com for independent third-party vehicle-history report processing. Available report content depends on the vehicle, the partner, and the sources available to the partner. Check Plate Now does not claim direct access to DMV, law-enforcement, insurance, or other government databases.

3. Use of Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent

4. Privacy and Data Collection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

5. Payment and Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Charges will appear on your statement as indicated during the purchase process.
